Recap of 2008
Okay, so I did this last year too and tried to do 2008 without looking at 2007. It's interesting how some of the answers are the same! After I was done, I looked at some of the 2007 answers and I know they'd be different if it had been common knowledge, not a secret, that I was pregnant!
1. What did you do in 2008 that you’d never done before?
Had a baby!
2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't make New Year's resolutions
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Do I count as someone close to me? In that case YES
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Yes, Gramma Ross
5. What countries did you visit?
planet sleepy parent?
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
more sleep
7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
August 17 and August 19 - the day I was admitted to the hospital early and the day that Baby J arrived
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Baby J
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not saying thank you enough. Not telling the people around me how wonderful I think they are often enough.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
does a c-section count as injury?
11. What was the best thing you bought?
a tie between the stroller and our own place
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
our government's leaders

to stuff for Baby J and a mortgage

nothing. It was a pretty darn good year

umm...maternity wear for the first eight months and then post-partum-getting-back-into-shape wear

none

minority vs coalition government. Obama vs McCain was pretty interesting too.
