Hadrian's Wall

Alex's cousin Carol's husband John took us to Hadrian's Wall for the day. It was a beautiful day - the sun was out. We did experience some minor weather that made us think this would have been an unpleasant place to be stationed - the wind was very very cold!

We ended our excursion at Hadrian's Hotel for some pub grub before heading back to Newcastle.
