Canada won its first gold medal tonight in the men's moguls and it was so exciting! We loved watching it and J, though very confused by our behaviour, clapped her hands enthusiastically too!
Alexandre Bilodeau is going to be a household name for a while! And he's probably relieved some of the pressure on the other athletes about winning Canada's first gold on Canadian soil.
I was a bit disappointed in the attitude that Dale Begg-Smith (the guy who creates spamming/spyware software) had - I know it must be disappointing to come second, especially at "home" (Canadian turned Australian whose parents live in West Vancouver), but hey, sportsmanship buddy!
Here's to more medals and exciting competition in the days to come!
