The insomniac has returned to drive me nuts. You'd think that being up past midnight two nights in a row and not really even sleeping then AND getting up earlier than usual to go to work would conk me out, but apparently not. I know why people go crazy from not sleeping. IT SUCKS!
I walked blocks and blocks and blocks tonight, so I'm hoping that will be enough to knock me out. I'm going to bed now to try to sleep...I'm sure I'll dream about making pretty web pages since I spent all day learning how to do that.
i'm tired today. the guy that works upstairs is going to new york today to try to get the board game he's created picked up, and he was working until FOUR IN THE MORNING! who does that? we even invited him over to have a beer with us...and then he goes about dragging crap around and making tons of noise.
ReplyDeletewe should move next door. it's pretty.
me too... hardly slept in over a week... last night I resorted to taking 2 advil (for my stiff neck) and washing them down with a glass of red wine.
ReplyDeleteother pharmeceutical choices... robaxecet with red wine, gravol with water, not booze, or you may go into a coma or nyquil.
buckley's night time, in pill format, knocks you right out. the only downfall is that the next day you feel like a zombie
ReplyDeleteif we're talkin' drugs - 2 benedryl. those are the antihistimines the emergency room uses for severe allergic reactions. also, they don't make them in "daytime" formula so they're pretty guaranteed to knock you out.
ReplyDeleteand I concur - nighttime cold medication - definitely.
non-drugs/alcohol remedy? a good boot to the head? I wouldn't recommend it though.
oh ya, Benedryl...ahhhhh I had that in the emergency room once. I had an allergic reaction to some codine they gave me - (sorry way too long of a story to get into)anyway..ya good stuff!
ReplyDeletemy day so far:
ReplyDeletephone rings
me: "good morning, non-pocket-bike shop"
whiny female: "ummm...did someone call my cell phone from this number?"
me: "well, can you tell me who's calling, please?"
whiny female: "well, they might have been looking for jeff."
ummm...WTF??????????????????????
a few Advils (ibuprofen) + red wine = a good way to damage your stomach lining
ReplyDeleteibuprofen might work for me, but there is a chance I'll never wake up again...but I found a cure for insomnia...trips to Cobble Hill!!
