Watermelon Lemonade

MMMmmmm...

I have discovered this amazingly wonderful recipe for "special lemonade" and it's not special cause it's got vodka in it...

1 can frozen lemonade concentrate
2 cups watermelon, cut into cubes

Mix the lemonade with three cans of water instead of four. Put the watermelon in the blender or food processor with half a can of water and blend until smooth. Add to the lemonade. Garnish with a slice of watermelon or a strawberry.

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM....sooooooooooo good.

I also made watermelon ice cubes for it which are super pretty. Just cube some watermelon. Freeze it in a single layer on a cookie sheet. When it's frozen, toss it in a freezer bag and use as necessary.

Now that I have my super delicious lemonade recipe, Alex and I are off to make our first grown up purchase...patio furniture so that we can enjoy the lemonade on the deck.
