Trivial Pursuit Night!!!

Yay! Trivial Pursuit Night was last night. Due to a variety of circumstances, including a whole lot of spring illness, there were only four of us, but we had fun! We also had a few really easy questions, a few really hard ones and some that just had us shaking our heads. We were playing the GenusII edition circa 1982 and there were a lot of questions like this *WILL* happen in 1992. It is also not so politically correct and when Kelsey got a question about which Indian wrote some poem or book of poetry or something, she answered with an Indian, from India, not thinking that the game was asking for the name of a First Nations poet. We also decided that the grammar in some of the GenusII questions was a little dodgy. Oh, and the questions are full of extra "clues." And of course I can't remember any of them, so you'll just have to take my word for it.

  3. why can't everyone move here? maybe i should just suck it up and move there.

last night james and jared and i decided that the best way to enjoy mission impossible three was to go to kelly o's and drink two pitchers. this was 15 minutes before the movie started. ha.

by the way, i posted something on overheard in the office. you can look for it "in several weeks". haha.

i'll keep my eyes open for your overheard in the office post...

i saw Bruce Almighty with Nate one time after having more than a few drinks. that can make movies way more interesting...do you think it makes Tom Cruise run faster?

  5. Don't put too much stock in Overheardintheoffice. I submitted something about 7 months ago and still have yet to see it. :( It was a good one too. What's yours?

And what did you think if MI3? I just saw it too - in my head I was converting all of Hoffman's character's lines into the voice of Capote. It was way more fun that way. "You dangled me from a f*ing plane!!". Hee hee.

  6. Shan - there was the one about being "lucky" and the answer was 13. Don't remember the actual question, but I do know the answer. That should get me far in life.

  7. yeah...MI3. like i said to shannon, i felt it was just a way to showcase how fast tom cruise can run. i wasn't too entertained. we did have a fun conversation post-movie about how fat tom's face has gotten. haha. i wish i'd thought of the Capote voice. too funny.
