I feel like I've been holding my breath ALL DAY. I didn't realize it until I let out a big breath about five minutes ago.
My baby girl is going through a growth spurt right now and seems to have some growing pains tonight. So, I ended up spending most of the the third period of the hockey game in her room rubbing her back. I did happen to come out just in time to see the tying goal.
And I was back in her room for the overtime. I decided if I couldn't hear anything, I was just going to assume that the game was still tied...
And then a horn honked. And then two or three horns honked. And a little almost asleep voice said "What's that?" And then our building erupted in cheers.
And I knew. The Canucks won. And all of a sudden my body relaxed and I started to breathe again. And J went to sleep.
And this just sums it up....I love this picture! Nashville is here on Thursday...here we go again...
Is that a cut out of Vince Vaughn or is that someone with a mask...in any case it is BRILLIANT!
ReplyDeleteIt's a cut out...green guy #2 is holding it! It's great, huh!
ReplyDeleteI came over to give you a comment on your CAP comment -- and this picture gave me a much-needed chuckle. Thanks for it.
ReplyDeleteEnnyhoo back to my original reason for popping over here -- how to store a stroller. Stroller hangers! Not too helpful for non-collapsing jogging strollers but just in case here's one link to the first one I spotted on google. http://www.amazon.com/StrollAway-Stroller-Storage-Hanger-Chrome/dp/B001GPBJP8
I didn't have one... I cheated and stored mine in the pickup truck.
Cheers!
Feh. I'm not really anonymous, I'm just blogspot-challenged.

Hi Mary!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link...unfortunately I think ours is too big - it's a Phil and Teds and it folds, but it's heavy...I did store it in the trunk of the car for a while, but while it fits nicely, it wasn't all that easy to bring groceries or other things home...We're allowed to store bikes on wall hooks in the parking garage, so I might invest in a bike hook and store it down there...now that our daughter is 2 1/2 we don't use it as often as we used to...
PS Thanks for visiting...glad the green guys made you laugh!
ReplyDeleteI loved the "Fred Clause Sucks" shirts they wore between the periods. HA HA!
ReplyDeleteI hadn't realised how tense I was about that game until the Cancuks won. It felt like every muscle in my body relaxed at the exact same moment. Talking with a friend today, it wasn't even about making it to the second round. It was about finally beating the f*ing Hawks in the post season!
